Additional Info: For best results use on bleached or pre-lightened hair, although some deeper shades may give a sheen or hint of colour to darker hair. Dye results may vary depending on hair type, hair porosity & base colour. Always follow manufacturer’s instructions fully. Do not condition hair prior to use as this can smooth the hair follicle and act as a barrier on the hair. Always shake tub/bottle beforehand or use a mixing bowl to ensure colour pigments are well mixed. Colours in the tub/bottle are not necessarily an indication of the final hair colour and the dyes can vary slightly between batches, therefore dye results cannot be guaranteed. Always try a strand & sensitivity test prior to use. Our Hair Dye FAQ section has lots of useful hints and tips on how to get the best from the type of hair dyes we sell. Here you can see instructions for use, clean-up tips, how to prolong the dye results and step by step guides on using different brands.

This was the first blue I ever used and even though my hair was the lightest I’ve ever managed to bleach it, it didn’t take well and faded very quickly to a dirty silvery colour.

Absolutely gorgeous colour! When first applied it is an awesome striking aqua then as it fades it goes through various shades, eventually getting to a rather nice green. I would recommend bleaching your hair to as light a blonde as you can for best results. I applied it on a mix of shades of blonde and it worked best on the lighter shades, though it did give a wonderful multi-faceted effect with various shades from bright aqua through to a sea green colour.
Lasts fairly well too with minimal bleeding.

Beautiful shade. Took a really true deep shining teal shade over blonde hair and didn’t budge. A really gorgeous shade!

Needs to be used over bleached white hair. Lovely pastel blue colour, lasts well considering the light shade.

I use this dye as my ‘upkeep’ dye. I mix it with my conditioner and use it every time I wash my hair to keep look beautifully red! I love this colour so much and the price tag! I can’t really comment oon fading because of the way I use it but it’s a lovely colour and I highly recommend using it in this way as a low cost way to maintain your sexy red locks! 🙂

I think I’m the only one being negative about this product. I’m a hairdresser, bleached my hair a lot and eventually ended up being really light blonde, couldn’t get any lighter. I wanted it to be less yellow though, so I wanted to go really really white! Bought manic panic’s virgin snow (amplified). It didnt do much. My extensions were the same color as they were before, my own hair got a bit lighter but not as white as all the images showed online. -Kay-

Long lasting, bright & vibriant even worked well without having to bleach my hair 🙂 I recomend -Cheyenne-

This is a great colour, BUT It would not come out of my hair. I have also spoken to 4 other people who had the same problem. It refused to come out with bleach or colour remover. I ended up getting my hair cut short to get rid of most of it. Even now, when I bleach my hair, there is still a blue tint left on it. This doesn’t happen to everyone but it definitely can happen. It is the only dye (and I’ve tried loads) that did this. The colour is great but you may have to keep it longer than you intended
