Additional Info: For best results use on bleached or pre-lightened hair, although some deeper shades may give a sheen or hint of colour to darker hair. Dye results may vary depending on hair type, hair porosity & base colour. Always follow manufacturer’s instructions fully. Do not condition hair prior to use as this can smooth the hair follicle and act as a barrier on the hair. Always shake tub/bottle beforehand or use a mixing bowl to ensure colour pigments are well mixed. Colours in the tub/bottle are not necessarily an indication of the final hair colour and the dyes can vary slightly between batches, therefore dye results cannot be guaranteed. Always try a strand & sensitivity test prior to use. Our Hair Dye FAQ section has lots of useful hints and tips on how to get the best from the type of hair dyes we sell. Here you can see instructions for use, clean-up tips, how to prolong the dye results and step by step guides on using different brands.

Surprisingly good – I used this over natural dirty blonde hair (only in small sections though) and was pleasantly surprised with the result. It came out a lovely Biro blue colour that I adored and faded fairly nicely though it did go a little grey before it was gone for good. Overall a good dye with a fair amount of staying power (just a little less than a month for me.)

Very messy colour ,comes off everywhere you lean or sleep or touch. Stains hands but the colour its self lasts really well seems to get brighter the more you wash it. Best money saving colour yet. Wear gloves when washing hair is a must!! – Emailed Review (Kara)

One of the best semi permanents i’ve tried. More runny than other dyes which makes it easier to apply and makes the bottle last longer (my hair is 5 inches past shoulder length and its lasted me 4 turns). Has a lovely smell, reminds me of a sweet shop. Dyeing over a red box dye it covered perfectly, with just a hint of the red showing in bright direct sunlight. Doesn’t stain ANYTHING except your hair! Not skin, not your bathroom, doesn’t bleed onto pillows or when it rains. Quick to rinse out when dyeing. Doesn’t come out much when washing your hair. I love this product…but……I wont be buying it again as it’s not vegan friendly. Such a shame as it’s good quality and great value for money, but non-vegan is a deal breaker for me.

I used this on both natural medium blonde har, and bleached hair. My hair is bleached on the ends, sombre style. I applied it on both the bleached ends, and furter up on the untreaded hair. The first couple of washes this colour is ridicolously vibrant and beautiful on the bleached bits (and surprisingly vivid on the natural hair), but I found after the third and fourth wash, the very tips of my hair were pretty much white, and the rest looked very faded and matte, while it almost completely washed out on the natural hair. However, after I applied the dye for the third time (aprox 2 weeks between each time, I wash my hair every 2 days), it stuck really well, no white ends, and is currently fading evenly into a lovely purpleish blue. I would never use this dye to colour all of my hair with, as it gets dull so quickly, but I’ll continue using it for my sombre.
