Additional Info: For best results use on bleached or pre-lightened hair, although some deeper shades may give a sheen or hint of colour to darker hair. Dye results may vary depending on hair type, hair porosity & base colour. Always follow manufacturer’s instructions fully. Do not condition hair prior to use as this can smooth the hair follicle and act as a barrier on the hair. Always shake tub/bottle beforehand or use a mixing bowl to ensure colour pigments are well mixed. Colours in the tub/bottle are not necessarily an indication of the final hair colour and the dyes can vary slightly between batches, therefore dye results cannot be guaranteed. Always try a strand & sensitivity test prior to use. Our Hair Dye FAQ section has lots of useful hints and tips on how to get the best from the type of hair dyes we sell. Here you can see instructions for use, clean-up tips, how to prolong the dye results and step by step guides on using different brands.

this is by far the best and brightest pink i have ever had and it lasted nearly 4 weeks and thats washing my hiar every 2 days and using swarzchkopf live platinum blonde hair dye to gte my hiar light. but this dye is the best if you want the best and brightest pink.

I found that I didn’t need to bleach my hair for this to show up. It went a sort of hot pink colour and, providing you don’t wash your hair every day, lasted a good 2 weeks. Wearing (argh) a shower cap actually made it last longer – might have been because of the heat? Great colour.

Great colour, was darker than I thought and took a good load of shampoo to get it lighter. (Just shows how good the staying power is).

The only problem I had with Manic Panic was the hair dye that bled onto my forehead when I sweated but after a few washes it wont stain your skin, clothes and pillows.

I do recommend this though, very long lasting and very cheap

This hair dye is really easy to use! Much much easier than any other hair dye I’ve ever used, and it isn’t messy! My hair had already been bleached and I put this over it, leaving it in overnight. The colour came out so amazing! I’ve only washed it once so far but the colour hasn’t faded at all! Manic Panic is definately the best brand to use! I put cotten candy pink at the back of my hair and atomic turquoise at the front, I put them in at the same time but was really careful not to mix them, the colour didn’t bleed from either of them at all and they look great together! The turquoise is a really good colour, not too blue and not too green! It’s perfect!

Apart from staining my dads carpet red, it was great! The first few days, my hair was a deep blood red colour. It turned an even nicer colour when it started to wash out. It was lumo red/pink! So… if you want a dramatic, unique colour… I reccomend this one! xD

Great color! Is VERY red (nuclear-red), but if you only leave it in for 2-5 minuts you get a very awesome looking orange color (like the picture). The longer you leave it in, the more red it gets. The color sticks well and fades to a warm lighter orange, eventually warm yellow. Great color if you use a flattening iron, like me, since the color fades gradely, so you don’t get those terrible ‘blond spots’.

Compared to ‘Crazy Color – Orange Dye’ it get’s a much nicer orange. My only regreat is not buying an extra. My new favorit orange!

Very nice colour! Only downsite is that it fades fast. I fades to a paler version (not very pretty): I re-dyeed it every 2 weeks, to keep it vibrant. To make it stick longer, only use cold water when washing your hair. If you use a flattening iron daily, you might want to go with a darker color, that sticks a bit better. If you unlike me don’t tourture your hair every day, I bet it sticks better. People often say the pink colors rubs of on pillow cases and clothes. I didn’t experince that at all… Nice color all in all 🙂

This color last forever like no other (it won’t come out even if you bleach it over)… I dyed my hair 4 months ago and my hair is still green, it has only faded a bit in some parts, from a green-blue to a pine-green.
This color changes a lot depending on the color of your hair, over bleached white hair this color is blue, and over bleached blond/dark blond this color is green (my real hair is black, so I had to bleach it a lot).

[Background: In July 2016 I bleached half of my hair and coloured it with varying shades of vibrant turquoise and purple (originally used LaRiche Directions & Adore) and every time I washed it, my hair became bluer! Eventually it settled on a lovely aquamarine-bluey-green, but sure enough my work found a problem with “extreme /unnatural hair colours”… something about “uniform policy”… so I figured it was time to get back to something relatively “natural” – so what if it wasn’t mine!]
A haircut in Feburary 2017 left me with less bleached colour to cover so figured I’d go for a dip-dye/ombre look. I’ve always loved the colour of a natural redhead, and I liked the warm natural shades of the Adore range, but I couldn’t find any accurate visual results online. Also I worried that any dye I used might go neon over what remained of the bleach; in the end I just had to take a wild guess on the dyes and try it out.
I chose Adore French Cognac & Copper Brown and evenly mixed them together, applying it to my all ready bleached tips, as well as some unbleached hair as well. The dye was quite runny which made it easier to apply. Worth saying that Adore dyes have a somewhat pleasant smell compared to some of the stenches you can occasionally find with brands you can buy on the high street!
Result? On the tips, a million times yes! However on the unbleached hair, the dye didn’t cling at all which was a shame. Nevertheless I am thrilled with the tips, and I love how the colour slightly varies in different lights, just like my friend’s natural red hair – definitely doing something right with this mix!
Only giving 4 stars due to the non-existent effect on unbleached hair. Overall, very happy to be an honorary member of #TeamRedhead!
