I used this on bleached hair and the first time I left it on for 15 minutes and it didn’t work very well. But I re-did it the next day and left it on for for almost an hour and it’s AMAZING. I have it striped with blue; the only problem being that they tend to blend together, meaning that you can’t always tell it’s there. But I love this dye and it stays really well, it just needs to be left for longer than it says xxx

This is my first time using manic panic… And not my last! I love the colour I get from this dye. It’s kind of peacock-ish and even though my hands and sink are now a dusty blue, this is definitely a colour I would recommend. Strongly!! -LiquidRobot-

I never got this dye to really work on my hair. The first few times it turned a greenish torquoise, cause my hair still had some yellow tones, and now, on almost white hair it only came out as a baby blue and not the bright, deep blue it’s supposed to be. It looks nice, but it’s not really what I was going for. -ASG-

Works best on bleached hair as it has a brighter colour and fades less. I used it on half bleached/half not bleached and it worked really well. Needed about 3 bottles due to the length of my hair but was happy with the results. It did fade but to a nice light blue on bleach and a dark shine on non bleach. Very happy with the result though regular reapplication is needed if you want to maintain the colour. -Gem-

i really liked this colour, it glowed an amazing red in the sunlight. i would reccomend this colour if you have dark hair and do not wish to bleach it, coz my was a quite darkish red from using many many other red hairdying products from high street shops. they never worked and always left my hair the brown colour it was with a tint of red. i used poppy red as my first directions hair dye, and it worked fabulous. really unexpected result as i didn’t think something that bright would work on my hair.

As a veteran of blue hair I have to say this is one of my absolute favourites. Really long lasting and although it is dark it does not lose out on brightness.

This dye is GORGEOUS. I have dark brown hair which until recently I have dyed permanent blue black, so its VERY dark. I used this dye on top of the faded dark colour, without bleaching and the result is gorgeously vibrant – a deep burgundy cherry red, more noticeable at the roots but definitely purply red throughout with lovely glints in the sunshine and under indoor lighting. I’ve had lots of comments on how gorgeous it looks, and how shiny it is! The loveliest thing about this dye apart from the colour is the smell, more than one person has commented that my hair smells like old fashioned sweeties – Midget Gems to be precise 😉 – and when I wash it in the morning it does smell divine! The magenta pink water when shampooing brightens up my day too. I have a chin length bob, and only needed half a tub to cover my whole head – so it works out at great value for money too. I used the dye on unbleached hair, and left it on for an hour to achieve my colour, so far its been 6 washes and it is still beautiful. It fades slightly but has become a rich deep purpley colour. This is the only dye I’m going to be using from now on, I’ve already stocked up on 5 more tubs!

After several failed attempts to dye my hair white, finally I’ve found something that actually works!!!!! In the past I’ve always given up at the pale yellow bleached stage, as nothing I’d tried worked, and believe me I thought I’d tried everything. This Product is amazing!!!!!

When dyed on my medium blonde air, it faded ALOT on 1 wash and i applyed it twice and it was like a dark lime green I then applied it to my bleached firnhe and OMG it was sooo bright i got called Radioactive head ! Im definatly doing this again on bleached hair

I love this dye! I mixed it with nuclear red and the result was exactly what I wanted! I used it on quite brassy bleached hair. It stays soooo well! The two colours mixed fade nicely for a red, I don’t like having red that fades too pinky (candy apple) or too orangey (nuclear) so they work well together. I recommend wearing a shower cap in the shower even on days you’re going to wash you hair. Do all the things you normally do in the shower and then the final thing you do is wash your hair as normal so it doesnt have water on it throughout your shower. I find it makes a big difference in staying time. I love Special Effects and Beeunique! 🙂
