For best results use on bleached or pre-lightened hair, although some deeper shades may give a sheen or hint of colour to darker hair. Dye results may vary depending on hair type, hair porosity & base colour. Always follow manufacturer’s instructions fully. Do not condition hair prior to use as this can smooth the hair follicle and act as a barrier on the hair. Always shake tub/bottle beforehand or use a mixing bowl to ensure colour pigments are well mixed. Colours in the tub/bottle are not necessarily an indication of the final hair colour and the dyes can vary slightly between batches, therefore dye results cannot be guaranteed. I dye my naturally blonde hair black with a regular permanent box dye but right after I dye it black and rinse the black out, I put the After Midnight Blue on and leave it for around 15-30 minutes and my hair is always the most beautiful shade of blue black. This is such a gorgeous color. I get soo many compliments on it. It looks soo great on top of black hair. I would describe it as being the deepest, darkest blue, like a deep, deep sapphire. It’s just beautiful. It does stain really bad, but I like to mix it with conditioner to avoid staining, and I deep condition my hair once a week, and add a little dye to keep my color bright. I’ll repurchase this for a longg time. 🙂 -Lily-

The colour wasn’t my favorite blue colour, but I didn’t dislike it. And the colour is a pretty subjective matter. It’s not that the colour turns out differently that expected or anything I just prefer darker blues. The colour lasts for some weeks, but after that a lot of brightness is lost, but that’s great for people who just want to try out dying briefly.
A big problem is that this colour stains A LOT. I had this problem for almost as long as the colour stayed bright. After several washes I would swipe my fingers through my hair and my fingers would stain. And the pillows kept staining.
NOTE FROM BEEUNIQUE: After using a vegetable dye please ensure you rinse fully until water runs clear – after that the dye may stain until after a few more washes but should be fine after that (some dyes do stain more than others and may stain longer).

I bought this toner for my partner who loves his hair white. He was bleaching his hair far too much which led to it falling out. I stumbled upon this page and decided to buy this toner for him to use after bleaching once. And it worked. I am soooo shocked at how well it worked! and he is very happy. We will defo be ordering again. =)

I have to say, after about 4 years of trying to find the right toner this has to be the one. iv always wanted white blonde hair, but its just never happened. first, i bleached my hair using 40% vol. left it on my roots for around 40 minutes, then took the bleach through the ends for the last 10. then applied the virgin snow toner to the roots first for around 20 minutes, then combed it through to the end for another 15 minutes. the results were amazing. finally i have the white blonde hair i always wanted! not only is this product effective, its great value for money. i used around half a tub, but that really depends on the length and thickness of your hair. i re-apply every week or so to keep the colour looking fresh. the only downside iv found with this product is that it can turn hair a purple colour in places but this goes after a wash or two. very pleased with it and i definately will be buying it again. handy tip- after you have applied the toner, cover hair in cling film and apply heat with a hair dryer for 5 minutes for added intensity.

I have used this hair dye for many years now, it is a lovely bright red, but it is a shame the colour does not last very long, after 2 washes it turns pink!! OK if you like pink as you get 2 colours for the price of one! wish they could make it a permanent dye! especially as my hair has been bleached for many years i cannot keep doing that forever it is thin now.

My god, this red is bright! Applied it to yellowy bleach blonde hair and left it on for 3 hours. It went highlighter orange 🙁 Re-applied the next day and left it for 4 hours and now it’s a tomato-y red but it is orange in bright light. Not at all like I’d expect it to come out and it’s fading very quickly. An excellent dye if you want a quick shot of very lumunious, kind of orange red but not if you’re going for pillar-box. -RobynBerry-

Love this colour – easy to apply and vibrant results. Tends to fade with each wash though, so reapplying now and then helps. In the past I have put tropical green over bleached hair, and when it fades it combines with the bleach, creating an iridiscent blend 🙂 -Ali-

Worked incredibly on bleached hair, bright bold color. The only slight downside is that because of it’s ability to glow in black light, it changes color in any fluorescent light indoors… which unfortunately means the entire indoor portion of my school. Still worked well, but I might try a different brand just to avoid stepping indoors and having it look vibrant blue…

So pleased with this dye!! It was so amazingly simple to put in, didnt itch or smell bad/strong like other colors Ive tried. And last for so long. Have bleached my hair once, then put the blue color in, and took about a month or 2 before the dark blue started to fade. Now several months later its like turqouise/greenish, but still great color and wont buy it from any other shop ever!
