For best results use on bleached or pre-lightened hair, although some deeper shades may give a sheen or hint of colour to darker hair. Dye results may vary depending on hair type, hair porosity & base colour. Always follow manufacturer’s instructions fully. Do not condition hair prior to use as this can smooth the hair follicle and act as a barrier on the hair. Always shake tub/bottle beforehand or use a mixing bowl to ensure colour pigments are well mixed. Colours in the tub/bottle are not necessarily an indication of the final hair colour and the dyes can vary slightly between batches, therefore dye results cannot be guaranteed. Brilliant colour with fantastic staying power. Looks beautiful in sunlight, and never fails to get compliments (unfortunatly “I like your hair” is the only chat-up line I get these days!)
My usual dye choise is the non-AMP version of same colour; on my head there was hardly a difference between the two in terms of how long the colour lasted (thus the reason for the 4 stars rather then 5).

The first time I used this (on bleached hair) it went a pinkish red and washed out rather quickly (in four washes it was almost completely out.) When I redyed it looked more pink than red.

This color looked great on the box, but this wasn’t the case of it on my hair, I have bleached it to Near white and it just turned purple so that didn’t work out for me… but it looks wonderful for a mixed of other blues.

I mixed this with deadly nightshade and it came up beautifully on my naturally dark hair, I knocked a star off though as I think used alone it wouldn’t have been as black as I would have liked. -Voiletsribbon-

So this is supposed to be purple right? Well it came out pink on my hair, though it was a nice pink. If your going to get this colour it might be a good idea to get a blue as well to make it come out purple. I’m not angry ’cause the pink really is nice and it’s really cheap to.

this is great! due to my hair previously being blue, when i bleached my hair it went a horrible green colour – mixed in with abit of ginger aswell. but after using this my hair is a normal blonde colour now. and with one more use turned my hair white 😀 its also made my hair shiny and healthier too, i highly reccomend this!

I like the colour,infact,the colour is gorgeous but if you have a bright white bathroom suite or parents that would kill you if you got something pink,i wouldn’t try this one out. I’ve stained EVERYTHING.. pillowcase, straightners, hairbrush, bath, neck, hands, hat, scarf, jumper, bra etc. It is a really nice colour though,i just hope it stops staining stuff soon 🙂

I’ve used Stargazer before (Shocking Pink) and had great results but I wanted to try a lighter colour. I wish I hadn’t! During the application it was obvious that the colour wasn’t holding at the roots. Even though I plastered my hair with the dye it’s only taken in certain places. The coverage is uneven but I gave 2 stars because where the colour has taken it’s a lovely shade of pink but I won’t be using it again. -Mathurine-
