Additional Info: For best results use on bleached or pre-lightened hair, although some deeper shades may give a sheen or hint of colour to darker hair. Dye results may vary depending on hair type, hair porosity & base colour. Always follow manufacturer’s instructions fully. Do not condition hair prior to use as this can smooth the hair follicle and act as a barrier on the hair. Always shake tub/bottle beforehand or use a mixing bowl to ensure colour pigments are well mixed. Colours in the tub/bottle are not necessarily an indication of the final hair colour and the dyes can vary slightly between batches, therefore dye results cannot be guaranteed. Always try a strand & sensitivity test prior to use. Our Hair Dye FAQ section has lots of useful hints and tips on how to get the best from the type of hair dyes we sell. Here you can see instructions for use, clean-up tips, how to prolong the dye results and step by step guides on using different brands.

This stuff is excellent! I’ve tried soo many blue hair dyes, and either they hold but fade out horribly, or fade out straight away, and horribly!
This fades to a gorgeous colour, and lasts nice and long. AStar =D

  2. kerrie kennedy

Fantastic color and really longlasting! It’s a little lighter than the example says, but it’s still pretty! It fades into lightblue, so it doesn’t end up as ugly as some other colours that fade.

I absolutely love this colour. The amplified formula definately keeps it’s freshly dyed brightness for longer than the normal one. I’ve never used any other brand so I don’t have anything to compare it against but I still think it’s pretty damn good! The whiter your hair is the brighter it’ll be. Covering the dye (with cling film or shower cap etc) and heating with a hairdryer worked wonders for me too.

This is such a lovely colour, a really deep pinky red. The only trouble I have with it is when washing the colour out and with subsequent shampooings standing up. As it’s washing out, it stains your back, hands, soles of your feet, everywhere! I had a pink neck for days! But it’s such a nice colour, that sometimes it’s worth it. -Extolment-

This hair dye is reallly really funky =] it turned out brighter than i thought. i used it the first time on my normal brown hair and it looked like a nice dark blue/ green, Then i bleached my hair and it was amazing =] shame it washed out quickly tho =[

Great color, fades somewhat fast. -Lenore-

This colour is a lot better than i had expected. it went on really well. i forgot to time it and left it on for an hour and it faded really well. i really reccomend Crazy Colour for people that want to try out a colour. because it can easily be washed out with lots of shampooing. Althugh i do have a random bit in my hair that is superbright pink and hasn’t faded even after a few weeks. Overall i really reccomend this dye. -Beckaarr-

I have had terrible trouble finding a red that I wanted. I decided to try Renbow’s Crazy Colour Fire and WOW, what a result. When first emptying the colour into the bowl it’s a sludgy custard consistency but very very thick. Semi-permanent hair dyes stain the hair rather than dying it fully, so be prepared to buy multipacks once you’ve found your desired colour as you’ll need a lot of touch ups. I applied the Crazy Colour Fire and it looked very deep burlesque red while it was settling. I left it on for 20 minutes to make sure that it stuck and then washed it off (my advice is don’t wait until the water runs clear, leave a tinly little bit in as it’ll last longer). -Mellabelle-

I’ve been using this for years and love the vibrant colour it gives. The only thing I don’t love is that it’s incredibly messy to use and bleeds onto everything it touches. Hubby tends to put it on for me using a 2′ paintbrush (which is the least messy way we have found to date). Brilliant stuff and my favourite colour ever….recommended IF you can put up with the dye transfer. -Feckless Wench-

After bleaching my hair it was a mid-blonde colour and some bits were white, where I had blonde streaks before. After keeping in the dye for an hour and adding a lot of heat with a hairdryer, my blonde turned a brown colour and the white bits went a pale blue and washed out completely after a couple of washes. I recommend using 2-3 tubs on shoulder length hair like mine and bleaching the hair to a very pale blonde beforehand. Also, I recommend leaving the dye on overnight to get ultra vibrant hair. -SaDIE-

I loved the color…starts out very dark. Works best on WHITE hair. Mine was a real pain to get out though, two bleaches. -MissKittyRawr-

Beautiful colour! Really love it. Only down side is it bleeds a lot, so i have to section off my hair when washing it! The colour has lasted well and I think it’s good value for money. -Sophie-

This is such a nice deep red, a nice bloodied vampire red, I’ve used it for a vampire night out and many people complimented me on the vibrancy of the red. amazing. -Becki BTW-

i think this is the best colour i have ever used. it stays bright all the time even after a wash and goes great with black. its great even when its faded. i would definately reccommend this colour to anyone. -KittyKat-

This colour starts out great giving a bright vibrant colour on the hair but it fades almost straight away. i know its only semi permanent but i still wouldnt use it again. it’d be good for anyone who only wants colour in for a short amount of time. -KittyKat-

  16. Emailed Review

wow. this colour was amazing. i would definately have this again. just make sure your hair is properly bleached to stop the hair going a tad orange. other than that the colour is so vibrant and i would definately have this again. -KittyKat-

Plum is a pink based purple that I absolutely swear by. This is such a beautiful purple that I haven’t as yet managed to find a rival for. Completely unique, and stunning over bleached and dark hair. Staying power is brilliant!

  18. Emailed Review

really nice colour for someone wanting to take the leap to pink hair.

  19. Emailed Review

This hair dye’s brilliant. I had it put in with red and the orange bits are actually out-lasting the red. It’s as bright as ever and glows in bright lights. It looks like my head is on fire. AWESOME dye. I strongly recommend it!

  20. Emailed Review

My favourite! This is the best shade of purple i have found. I like to mix it with a bit of pink so it’s a little less blue toned. Or just leave it as it is. A really nice shade that lasted ages.

  21. Emailed Review

Love this toner it’s the best if you want white hair. Or just to remove yellowy tones. I once left it on a little too long & it gave my hair a purple tint (i liked it anyway). So be careful of that. But otherwise a really nice dye.

Incredible deep pillar box red colour. However after one wash it went completely neon pink, which was very cool also. I applied it to white hair and the colour sank in instantly. After a few washes, 5-8 it went bubblegum pink and after two weeks, it looks stunning with white & bubblegum pink streaks. I love it!!!

  23. Emailed Review

This is my favourite pink ever!! its really easy to use and lasts well. When it fades it just gets lighter rather than going a nasty orangey colour. I wont use any other pink now!

  24. Emailed Review

Plum turned out a beautiful, vibrant, deep purple color with a dark pink mixed in. It faded really nice, something i find really important…! On the examples in the shop it sometimes seems a bit dull, but don’t get misguided by that, it’s a great color! (used it on bleached hair) -STPH-

Really good for the money. Photo is good representation of colour. I’d say better than the manic panic stuff but does wash out reasonably quickly. If you want really bright results that last you’re better spending the extra pennies on Special Effects Dye Atomic Pink (its fab)!

  26. Emailed Review

By far my favourite pink out of any brand, i found that manic panic lost most of its colour after 2 weeks or so. This colour becomes REALLY bright on silver hair, you could probably see my hair from a mile away. To get a really vibrant colour i recommend silver – to a light base yellow. The hair goes more Candy bright pink to a light cotton candy, depending on your base and which shampoos you use this brands can last for 2 months been vibrant

I bleached my hair too yellow/orange and pinkissimo covered it all up beautifully. Theres no hint of orange or yellow. I would highly recommend this dye. Plus, it hasnt damaged my hair at all which is a bonus!!

  28. Zoe Harwood

My hair was bleached to a yellowy white root, with patchy pastel pink and yellow everywhere else. This blue seemed to just about cover up the pink, but was a lot weaker looking where my roots were so it looked really dodgy. I guess you’d have to completely whiten your hair for it to look good, which is a shame because it looked a really pretty colour on the bits of my hair where it had worked!

  29. Lilyangel

Like any red, it bleeds- pun TOTALLY intended! But the color is GORGEOUS deep red and it paired perfectly with my dark purple from ‘N Rage Color in Purple Plum for my rainbow-esq ombre hair.
