I bought this to try over my medium brown hair which I usually colour red using LUSH cacas rouge. I was very pleased with the results – I was left with a very pretty red wine/garnet colour with lots of shine! I’d ordered 3 bottles as my hair is long (almost to the, er, top of my bottom!) but I only needed 1 bottle to do all my hair! Brilliant value for money.
Be warned though – THIS PRODUCT STAINS!!!!
I’ve since used henna on my hair again with no problems. I’d recommend this product to anyone wanting to use a hair colour without peroxide.

I have used every shade of purple that MP has made, and I think this one has to be my favorite. it’s like a mixture of blue and red purple which is fun to see the color change in different lights. It doesnt fade too fast(I always do touch ups every other week/mix some with conditioner and let it sit for a while)I would tell everybody looking for an interesting purple to try it out! 🙂 – Emailed Review (Lolitaari)

Had to throw in a review for this one as it’s a really pretty colour and a completely unique shade! a statement red, but soft, in an “it-could-almost-be-natural” way (on bleached hair) and with super pretty warm, jewel-like undertones: in different lights it reflected different shades of coppery pink. If I had to rename this shade for how it looks (on my hair at least) I’d probably call it “garnet” because that is what those spectacular undertones make me think of.
Lasted a couple of weeks great guns on me, then I went swimming, and regrettably the chlorine had faded it to a dull ugly orangey hue by the time I got out of the pool.
Although it is realistic to expect some degree of fade or reaction to pool water from any hair dye, this is the only hair colour I’ve ever had that reacted quite as badly as this to swimming pool chemicals so I regrettably won’t rebuy as being able to swim is important to me.
If you’ve not used Adore before it has a unique, runny, gel texture compared to other more creamy colour brands; it’s quite straightforward to use but very different from others you may have tried, and I have heard this makes it a bit easier to use than other brands if you have very thick hair (which I totally don’t)
