Fantastic product! A brilliant vibrant shade red this colour has rich tones with no orange after glow. I have now washed my hair 14 times and the colour is every bit as bright as the day I coloured it, amazing! It is worth pointing out that most of my hair (save the 1/2 inch roots I had!) was a fairly light blonde.

I love this shade. It does exactly what it says on the tub, it is the exact shade of a poppy. So it’s a red with heavy pink tones. I have this at the moment and it’s a real stunner. Staying power isn’t great, but it’s worth it for such a beautiful shade.

Great color. Lasted longer than any of the other colors i have used so far. Only left it on my bleached hair for 15 minutes, but it last almost 2 months. & the only reason i redyed was because i was adding purple to it too, and i wanted it all at its starting color. but when i redyed it it was a very pretty, bright baby pink. i am definitely buying this again, for my 4th time -Brielle-

When mixed with crazy color crapi blue it gives off the most amazing shade of blue. I would recomend this to anyone going blue. It lights the color from the crapi blue but keeps it the rich and healthy shine of it. and excllent conditioner for the hair too when used under heat for 30 mins. *used on bleached hair very pale yellow – 9/10 base*

I used this dye over faded Directions Ebony and about three inches of my natural dark brown hair. It covered both parts exceptionally but it was very messy and coloured my skin pink for days after wards. The Directions dye had faded to a light blue-green colour so I was quite surprised when the test strand turned out to be quite a dark purple, somewhat similar to SFX Pimpin’ Purple. Even more surprisingly over natural brown hair this dye looked the same shade! I would highly recommend this shade to anyone who wants plum coloured hair but doesn’t want to bleach. It lasted pretty well on the bleached hair but I had to top the unbleached parts up after five washes. Also, if you are planning to have streaks of another colour be careful when using this dye. I covered some sections up with conditioner and the dye still got through.

I’d recently been to a spa and all the previous colours had been washed away, and I was left with ‘goldilocks’ ie. faded bleach in my hair. I bought Eggplant to darken the colour and not make it as eyecatching; however upon application it went reddish-pink!! I was not disappointed, just surprised. It lasted for ages and eventually faded to subtle pink. -Ali-

I use this as a pink. When first applied it’s a dark pink. After a couple of washes it goes magenta pink and slowly fades. It’s a great colour and has great staying power on my hair. A better alternative to any bright pink. And as with all Directions, it’s good to hair. 🙂 -Luzblah-
