For best results use on bleached or pre-lightened hair, although some deeper shades may give a sheen or hint of colour to darker hair. Dye results may vary depending on hair type, hair porosity & base colour. Always follow manufacturer’s instructions fully. Do not condition hair prior to use as this can smooth the hair follicle and act as a barrier on the hair. Always shake tub/bottle beforehand or use a mixing bowl to ensure colour pigments are well mixed. Colours in the tub/bottle are not necessarily an indication of the final hair colour and the dyes can vary slightly between batches, therefore dye results cannot be guaranteed. Brilliant – it hardly stained my skin at all. Due to other commitments I was only able to leave it in for around half an hour, however two weeks later and the blue is still vibrant and looks beautiful in the sunlight! I have naturally brown hair, so I bleached it first and then before applying the dye also highlighted it; the result of this was that it has come out around three or four different shades of blue, ranging from almost-turquoise to almost-purple. This dye certainly makes a change from your standard blue, and isn’t too flourescent either. I can’t recommend it enough. -Miriam-

I really love this colour and actually used it for about 18 months, however I found that it doesn’t last long enough, (about a week, but fades to about half it’s strength after 2 washes- 3 if you’re very lucky) even on my hair that’s bleached to almost white. I also found that whether you applied conditioner before you used the dye made no difference to the lasting capability to if you had not. Overall- I still really liked the colour, and dying often wasn’t too bad as on a good month I could make the pot of dye last about a month so it wasn’t too costly to use. -Tallis-

This colour is really great in the beginning, but it fades very fast. Though, you get a really RED result instead of those (red) you get from those you can buy in every-day stores. I really loved this, and I miss my RED hair. Plus, people can’t lose you in a crowd.

Some parts of my hair had the tiniest violet tinge to it but the majority was pure crystal white and it evened out my hair completely. i was so pleased with my result and this is the toner to go for if you want white hair opposed to virgin snow etc. It does not need to be left on long thoug and make sure you give it a good comb through. -Iain-

A nice blue dye. Takes best over a very very light blonde. Staying power sadly isn’t great, but keep it topped up and it’s quite pretty.

A very good colour. It’s definately magenta, so don’t use it if you want a real pink pink, but the shade you get is a real stunner. A glistening, jewel like purple based magenta which fades out to a pinker shade.

I wasnt too sure about using Ultra Violet, after my friend used it and had it come out brown, when i used it there was a light layer of pink under it and it turned out really good =] -Paiige-

It wasnt blue at all on my slightly bleached hair, but a turquoise. A really nice colour even though it wasnt what I wanted. Fades quickly, after 3-4 washes its a light green and after that a greenish blonde. -TrashFairy-

Ive used this colour on & off for the past 5yrs. Its the best i’ve tried yet! I always get people asking me how i get it so blue. The colour lasts longest when i bleach my hair till it looks almost white. If it’s only blonde it looks mucky. I love the biro inky colour it has after i’ve just applied it. Then after the first wash it goes bright blue, people think it’s electric blue. I recomend this colour to anyone who can bleach their hair well. My fav colour so far. -Sarah-

Totally gorgous blue, had bleached roots and faded pink rest of hair, covered it all well. The only problem was that it wouldn’t ‘stick’ to my hair, had to mix it with conditioner to get it to go on, but has worked really well. -Stitch-Bitch-

(For people who don’t bother bleaching their hair) Out of all the shades of red, this is the best one. Personally. When I first applied it, it was a bright redish pinkyish colour, it looked amazing! When it started to wash out, it went this really pretty light red colour, it was hard to describe! It was a very dramatic, contrasting colour, I love it! The only down side is that it washes out too quickly. But it’s okay for me; I have a stock full of Poppy Red hair dyes, so I can just keep re-applying! xD I re-apply this colour about every 2 or 3 weeks. When the colour fades, YES, It’s pretty. But when it’s very diluted (faded) it goes this strange brownish/redish colour! Dx But no, it’s a great colour. I reccomend it for people who don’t bother bleaching their hair. It looks amazing on un-bleached hair! Have fun! xD

It doesn’t get all of the hair as evenly as i’d like but I love the colour and it surprisingly lasts long. It also goes a nice lilac colour when faded so it doesn’t look horrible.

I LOVE this colour! It’s lasting sooooo well! I have washed so many times since I dyed it and it still doesn’t need a touch up! It quite a true red but a bit pinky based. I mixed it with a bit of Adore Mocha so it came out darker and has lighten up a bit but no where near as much as other reds I have used. I dyed it about 3 weeks ago and I have washed mostly every other day and a few times on consecutive days. This stuff really lasts! I will be buying this again. I lavvit!

This is one of my favorite shades for mixing with other colors or alone , it’s a wild almost neon cerise pink on bleached hair but will stain virgin brown hair also . With it being so heavily pigmented it stains everything . Also rubs off hair quite a bit too . All part of the fun though eh 😀 Longevity good
